Dear friends and colleagues,

The annual congress of the Italian Neuroimmunology Society is an opportunity for updates on neuroimmunological and neuroinflammatory mechanisms in neurodegenerative, autoimmune and psychiatric disorders.

This year, for the XXXIV edition of the congress that will be held in Rome, we have selected topics covering different aspects and innovative approaches in the Neuroimmunology field, including control of innate immune responses in neuroinflammation, lymphocyte response dysregulation in Multiple Sclerosis and other autoimmune diseases, new insights in neurological and autoimmune disorders including modeling of CNS diseases and the role of complement in this context, as well emerging biomarkers and mechanisms of regenerative neuroimmunology in demyelinating CNS disorders.

The selected speakers are leading experts in their field and their presence will provide the opportunity to discuss on the latest advances in Neuroimmunology. The meeting, thus, represents a unique occasion to bring together researchers working in different research areas of basic and clinical Immunology and Neuroscience to network and establish new collaborations, but also to interact with students and young scientists hoping to inspire and motivate them with the final intent of growing up a new generation of enthusiastic neuroimmunologists.
