Research interests
Dr. Borsellino has a long-standing interest in the role of environmental factors and of immune regulation in the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis. Over the years, she has studied adaptive innate immune responses together with non-conventional T cells, T regulatory cells, and virus-specific T cells in persons with multiple sclerosis.
